Another way to accessorize your kitchen - add some vintage wall art!
When you're accessorizing your kitchen you normally go for decorative cutting boards, vases, and bottles to put on your countertop.
But what do you do with the empty space above the stove or kitchen sink? My answer - add vintage wall art!!
I had this blank space above my stove that I wanted to fill.
I knew I wanted some vintage landscape art with neutral colors, and during my search I found Gathered Print Shop on Etsy.
After looking through her curation of vintage wall art, I bought the digital download of the Vintage French Landscape Painting because of the subtle palm tree theme.
The digital download came with 5 different size ratios, so it made it super easy for me to get it printed how I wanted.
Side note: Gathered Print Shop also offers custom handwritten recipe art which I think would make a really thoughtful gift for a friend or family member.
At first, I thought I would just get it printed on paper and add it to a frame. However, when I was searching on mpix.com, I found an absolute GAME-CHANGER!
I found out I could get art printed on METAL.
Since it was going above my stove, this got rid of all of my fears. Originally, I was nervous about messing up the print with grease splatter or having water condensation fill up in the frame. Now I didn't have to worry about all that!
I chose the Modern Metal, 8x12" on Glossy with a White Base and Float Frame.
It ended up being the perfect space filler for my kitchen and I am in love!
