Thinking about using Wrought Iron paint to spice things up in your home? Here are 7 examples of the color in real spaces!
When you have a project or design in mind what's your first step? If you're like me... it's find inspiration!
Before I painted my office, I spent time researching different shades of black paint. For me, it's so helpful to see what the colors look like in other people's homes before I make an investment.
I fell in love with Wrought Iron by Benjamin Moore because of the way the color varies. It ranges from black to gray to navy depending on the angle and light source.
I've gathered some of my favorite items and spaces painted in the same color in hopes to help you fall in love with it too! 🤗
1. Beautiful Storage Solutions
This Wrought Iron and gold hardware combo is amazing! It really makes the metal accents pop and makes the cabinets look sleek and elegant.
A combination like this would be a great way to spruce up an old dresser or desk.
2. Hallway Magic
If you're nervous about painting a main living area a dark color... try it in a hallway!
I love the texture the board and batten adds. Imagine this on an entire wall 😍
3. Exciting Entryways
This front door is done beautifully 👏🏻
Paired with the crisp white, the dark door provides the perfect amount of contrast. It proves that you don't need a bright color to catch people's attention!
4. Balance with Built-Ins
The color on the built-ins makes a statement while still feeling cohesive with the rest of the space.
I love the way the colors are almost flip-flopped! On the light shelves, there are darker decor pieces and on the dark shelves there are lighter accents.
5. Don't Miss a Step
Wrought Iron paint seems to work with any color, making it very versatile. In a high foot traffic area like stairs, this color can still make them look modern and simple.
6. Boldness in the Bedroom
Dark and moody rooms are totally in style in 2021!
They are great for making lighter accents pop, making a room feel larger and cozier, or adding a little drama to the space.
7. Sheds need love too!
A fresh coat of paint is my favorite budget friendly upgrade! The dark paint color combined with the rustic door completely transformed this shed.
Anddd just look at the way the green pops against it! If you're considering going this route for the exterior of your house, I would definitely have some vibrant plants and trees around it.
I hope this helped you find the perfect shade of black you've been looking for!
